Vascular Flora of Alberta: illustrations and maps. 2024. illus. 648 p.

This book contains illustrations and distribution maps for all of the 2,098 vascular plant species that are currrently recognized as native or naturalized in Alberta. It also has a collection of labelled illustrations, with one to several drawings for each family showing some of the key characteristics used for identifying species.
The book is designed as a companion volume for the Vascular flora of Alberta: An illustrated guide (2020). Each species entry contains several details that are not found in the illustrated keys. These include the author(s) of the scientific name, all of the varieties and subspecies found in Alberta (where applicable), and a species common name.
