This is a catalogue of the 2005 exhibition at Ashmolean Museum, offering remarkable examples of botanical art, contemporary and from the past. The oldest exhibit is a drawing of thistle made by a monk from the late eleventh century and the most recent painting, by Angela Mirro, is of rare Peruvian slipper orchid discovered in 2002.
