Atlas of Common Macroalgae in the Yellow Sea, Bohai Sea and East China Sea. 2018. illus. 176 p. Hardcover.- Chinese, with Latin nomenclature.
From 2010 to 2017, the author jointly conducted a survey of large-scale algae resources in the intertidal zone of the East China Sea and the Yellow and Bohai Sea by a number of educational and scientific research institutions within the United Nations, and conducted 112 surveys on 76 sites along the coasts of Fujian, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shandong, Liaoning, and Hebei. In this investigation, 119 species of large seaweeds were identified through the appearance and morphology, tissue and cell structure, and molecular systematics. The book records 114 species of macroalgae, including 7 genera and 22 species of Chlorophyta, 66 species of Rhodophyta 40 genera, and 31 species of 17 genera of Brown algae. The book is divided into 3 parts, the first part is the habitat of the seaweed; the second part is the biological characteristics of the seaweed; the third part is the classification status, external morphology and cytological structure photos of the seaweed. The co-authored "Illustrated Book of Common Large Seaweeds in the Yellow and Bohai Sea and the East China Sea" records in detail the external morphology and tissue cell structure of the common large seaweeds in the East China Sea and the Yellow and Bohai Sea for the first time.
