It also delves into the diversity of amphibians and mammals residing in the hotspot. The book covers the negative impact of climate change on the hotspot and the subsequent dangers it poses. It also throws light on various other threats to the biodiversity in the region. The book details the various conservation efforts currently taken as well as steps that can be taken to improve these efforts.
