This book is a work that focuses on the vascular plant species that inhabit the central mountain range of the Andes, particularly in the basin of the Claro River, in Villamaría, Caldas. It provides a complete physical-biotic description that contextualises the study area and allows us to understand the dynamics of the components of the ecosystem and their relationship with the vegetation that inhabits it, giving way to the subsequent presentation in detail of more than 150 plant species, as a significant documentary contribution to the knowledge of biodiversity in the Andean region.
