Differentially expressed genes in plants. A bench manual. 1997. XI, 139 p.
Plant biologists use certain techniques to gain information of genesinvolved in changes during development, or in response to endogenous orexogenous stimuli. Once identified these genes can be isolated, analysed and recombined, to provide further evidence for theirfunction, and used with the aim of causing, or preventing specifictraits in plants, for academic or commercial purposes. Most of thetechniques described in this volume for cloning novel, differentiallyexpressed genes are of use in other biological fields.
