This opus consists of 3 volumes. Volume 1 concentrates on the history of mycology in Drenthe, used field work methods, changes in the mycoflora of Drenthe, typical Drenthe fungi, threat of the mycoflora and use of the fungi as environmental indicators,descriptions of fungi new to science, glossary and literature. Volume 2 treats 2304 species,of which 2010 have been confirmed for Drenthe.
