This is the first publication related to the area of the newly proclaimed Dinara Nature Park in Croatia. It is an expert pictorial guide to the plant world, written on the basis of two years of flora research along three hiking trails leading to the highest Croatian peak - Sinjal, 1831 m. It is intended for all lovers of plant diversity, students of biotechnology and natural sciences, botanists.

Dinara, like other Croatian mountains, has not been studied in detail in terms of floristics. This book represents a step towards a better knowledge of the most common and interesting plant species and subspecies that grow not only on the Dinara but also on other rocky and karst areas, as well as on the very tops of the mountains. Some of them are in danger of extinction due to the collection or devastation of natural habitats. The intention of the authors was to present 100 important taxa .
