For all species, subspecies, varieties and hybrids - also casual aliens- synonyms, Nordic vernacular names and distribution information is included. For the more common casuals and for allresidents, a fairly detailed description is provided, together with information on, e.g. chromosome numbers, ecology, reproductive biology and means of introduction; occurrence in Norden is summarized on a dot map of 88 floristic provinces. Matters like variation and species delimitation are freely discussed, and unsolved problems are stated.-Good second hand copy.
