According to recent investigations, there are 60 families, 165 genera, 216 species in Nansha Qundao. 88 families, 268 genera, 375 species in Xisha Qundao, but only 105 species were found in Dongsha Qunda.
This book is based on field investigations of the authors and literatures.
This survey collected 93 families, 305 genera and 452 species (including varieties)of the South China Sea Islands in total, among which, 3 families, 3 genera and 4 species were pteridophyte, 4 families, 4 genera and 5 species(l varieties)were gymnosperm and 85 families, 283 genera and 423 species (including varieties) were angiosperms.
