The book describes species that are frequent in Central Argentina and especially in the Province of Cordoba and illustrates those whose floral morphology, being very complex, requires additional explanation.
Each species is given its scientific name and common names, a description of its geographical distribution in the country, habitat, vegetative and reproductive morphological characteristics, flowering season, most common uses and notable aspects of its biology.
Each species is illustrated with colour photographs and an illustrated glossary to facilitate the understanding of the descriptions.
