With this guide the reader can go all over the Pyrenees identifying trees and shrubs over one meter high that grow naturally, or those species that even being foreign are already part of the landscape of the Cordillera.

Diagrams and data are included to recognize the different types of leaves, flowers and fruits, as well as numerous photographs that help us to identify them.

In the more complicated genera, simple keys are added that allow us to arrive at specific differences that would otherwise be difficult to identify.

The guide has focused on the Aragonese Pyrenees, although, as indicated, it can be used throughout the Cordillera.

The guide of trees and shrubs of the Aragonese Pyrenees has received the Félix de Azoro Award, and therefore is part of the collection of environmental issues that bears his name.
