Inonotus and its related genera, Asterodon, Aurificaria, Coltricia,Coltriciella, Hydnochaete and Hymenochaete (Hymenochaetaceae) are covered. In China, 48 species are recognized from 11 genera. Keys wereprepared to the genera and species. All species are illustrated, andtheir taxonomy is discussed. Spore dimensions of the species weremeasured from Chinese material, their statistical variations are given,and all studied specimens are listed.
