In the past 20 years, more than 7,000 bryophyte specimens have been collected in Hubei. Through more than 20 years of investigation of Hubei bryophyte resources, the bookoffer information on more than 380 species of bryophytes and their field photos and micrographs. The editorial board spent more than a year classifying, microscopically photographing, and expert identification review of the specimens, and conducted additional collections from 2020 to 2021, especially for the Wufeng Houhe National Nature Reserve in Hubei Province. The team collected 7 times a month in 2021 and obtained a large number of fresh moss specimens, providing higher-quality materials for microscopic photography. The book describes the main identifying morphological characteristics, uses, and distribution of each plant. Each plant has individual and microscopic photos taken by the author.
