This book contains 112 species (including varieties) of 18 genera of Lauraceae cultivated ex situ in major botanical gardens in China, with more than 900 color photos of morphological characteristics. Each plant introduces the Chinese name, scientific name, natural distribution, morphological characteristics of ex-situ cultivation, introduction information, phenological information, key points of ex-situ cultivation, and main uses. The Chinese name and scientific name are mainly based on Flora ofChina in Volume 7 and "Flora of China" in Volume 31; the genera and species are arranged in alphabetical order of the scientific name, and the Chinese name used for the first time is marked with "Xinyi". The introduction information and phenological information are arranged from south to north according to the geographical location of the botanical garden. For ease of reference, a statistical table of the species of Lauraceae cultivated in various botanical gardens, the geographical location and natural environment of the relevant botanical gardens, and an index of the Chinese names and scientific names of the Lauraceae plants involved in this book are attached to the back of the book.
