Macrofungi from Guangxi, China (Zhongguó guangxi dàxíng zhenjùn). 2021.Many col. photogr. 447 p. 4to. Hardcover. - Chinese, with Latin nomenclature.
Guangxi is located in South China, spanning from south to north in the north tropics, south subtropics and central subtropics. The undulating mountains, vast forests and diverse vegetation types provide a good ecology for the growth, reproduction and evolution of macrofungi.
In order to systematically study the large-scale fungi resources in Guangxi, the author has conducted a long-term investigation since 2000 with the support of the Southwestern Microbial Diversity Special, a number of National Natural Science Foundation projects, and a number of provincial and ministerial projects.
Based on the modern classification system, 1145 species of macrofungi were systematically sorted out from more than 3,600 Guangxi fungal specimens, focusing on the macroscopic morphological characteristics of 513 species, and attached with color habitat photos, literature citations, habitat, distribution and use, etc.. The book visually records the common and representative fungi species in Guangxi.
