Second hand copy with signature of previous owner. Good state. -.Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos possess a remarkably rich flora. More than12000 species have been described and continued explorations increase the list every year. While many species have been investigated in the botanical field, very few of them are known and used in modern medicine. It is with the purpose of directing attention to the medicinal plants of Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos and their use in these countries that this book was written. This work has been also undertaken in response to recommendations by W.H.O. urging international organizations to work for conservation, promotion and rational utilization of traditional medicine and indigenous plants in different countries of Southeast Asia as a part of their primary health care program.
