Vol.3: Historia plantarum : ms. 459 Biblioteca Casanatense : L'Enciclopedia medica dell'Imperatore Venceslao : facsimile [CD-ROM]. - The original Tacuinum Sanitatis was a translation into Latin of Ibn Butlan's Taqwin al-sihha. The original illuminated Latin codex, known as "Historia plantarum" and also by the title "Tacuinum sanitatis", dates from the end of the 14th century and was produced in Milan. It is conserved as Ms. 459 at the Biblioteca Casanatense in Rome. Language Volume 1 contains the first translation of the Latin text into modern Italian. Volume 2 comprises analytical essays on the codex by various scholars. Volume 3 is a CD-ROM which comprises a full-colour electronic facsimile of the codex. - Partialquote from Kew Library.
