This monograph is based on studies from 1981 to 1988.During these years hundreds of plants have been collected on excursions or have been supplied by the local population. The book is divided in sections and within each section in "parts", each closing with an English summary.Section one of the book covers general matters (methods,etc), botanical and ethnobotanical aspects (incl. "taxonomia popular"), pharmacological aspects. Section II contains the monographs of the plants (p.293 to1082),giving Latin and popular names, illustration,botany, ethnobotany,phytochemistry, pharmacology, toxicology, and medicinal use.
