This book introduces the vegetation and native and cultivated plants of the coasts and islands of NW parts of the Persian Gulf including Khore Musa, Mahshar and adjacent areas. For each plant, scientific names, common and vernacular names - if available - with attention to local names used in the area, botanical description, habitat and distribution range in Iran and worldwide are provided. The distribution maps of all native species in Iran are also presented. In spite of the fact that this book covers a rather small geographical area of Iran, it can be used as a field guide to identify many plants of southern Iran in Ilam, Khuzestan, Bushehr, Fars and Hormozgan Provinces and the Persian Gulf Islands and coasts in surrounding countries in Bharain, SE Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE.
