This book deals with medicinal plants. It brings together texts and photographs resulting from the dialogue between researchers and residents of the villages Guapoy (Amambai), Jaguapiré, Guasuty, Kurusu Amba, Tapyi Kora (Limão Verde) and Takuapery, located in the region known as the Southern Cone in Brazil. In all, there are ten authors, with the production organized by Basta, Iceland, Aparecida Benites (Kuñatãi mbo`y arandu), and Ananda Meinberg Bevacqua (Kunãtai tucamby). To meet the popularization of science in Brazil, the activities were developed in the perspective of integration between indigenous and non-indigenous researchers, seeking to offer practical answers and concrete returns to the communities involved.
