Details on the taxonomy, cytology and ecology of ten species complexes of ferns. Approximately 20 different morphological characters have been studied in about 1000 specimens. The extent of variations in the species complexes dealt with is established for the first time. This will help condiderably to avoid taxonomic confusions in describing new species. So far diversity has been known only at the species level.In this book for the first time diversity at the intraspecific level is being dealt with.
