Flowers in Horton Plains. 2016. Illus.(col.). XXX, 110 p. Paper bd.
The main attraction of coming to Horton Plains is to see the World's End, a look down from a 1,200 m (4,000 feet) precipice below, sometimes enveloped in mist, but when the weather is good, with a spectacular view of tea estates and range of mountains. Visitors pay little attention to the range of colored wild flowers seen throughout the year in the Horton Plains.
This guide aims to provide some information onthe floral richness of Horton Plains to the visitors by providing descriptions of 100 flowering sepcies. Most of the plants were photographed within the park. A few species growing on road sides on the way to the Plains have been photographed just outside the boundary of the park.
