Hilliard, O. M.
The Manuleae. A Tribe of Scrophulariaceae. 1994. 90 figs. 579 p. gr8vo. Hardcover.
The Manuleae, largely African in distribution, and one of the least known tribes of Scrophulariaceae, consists of 17 genera and 350 species. This flora provides a full study of the Manuleae, offering a description of each genus and species and giving new information on their habitats and distribution. Through the provision of keys to the genera and species, it makes accurate identification possible for the first time, and redefines genera, revealing important patterns of geographical distribution previously hidden in muddled taxonomy. Both classification and biology are fully considered. This study will be the standard classification of the tribe.
