The Valley of Flowers is the northernmost end of larger valley of godsin the Gharwal region of the high Himalayas. It offers an almostinfinite variety of blooming flowers, from June to August, each specieslasting about a fortnight, replaced by another. The root stock ofalmost all high altitudinal alpine flowers lies here. Description ofroute to this remote valley, bordering Tibet, flowering seasons,identification of varieties that blossom, etc.
