Tree of Life For Chinese Vascular Plants is a monograph on the evolution of China's vascular plant system. The authors used multi-gene sequence data to reconstruct the tree of life distributed in China by order, family, and genus, and based on this, propose a classification system for Chinese vascular plants. The general part introduces the concept of the tree of life, research history, establishment methods and application prospects, as well as the tree of life and systematic arrangement of Chinese vascular plants. The second chapter vividly shows the distribution of China’s 3 lycophyte orders, 11 fern orders, 7 gymnosperm orders, and 57 angiosperm orders, with the identification characteristics as clues, combined with tree diagrams, according to the order and family evolution, a total of 78 orders. The phylogeny of 328 families and 3.114 genera of vascular plants, the distinguishing characteristics of each family and genera, the number of genera within the family, the number of species and the geographical distribution, each genera is equipped with color photos or line drawings.
