Presents a revision of the re - circumscribed Caloplaca saxicola group (Teloschistaceae, Ascomycetes) from the Northern Hemisphere.Examination of approximately 650 specimens together with the relevant type material. Descriptions are based on macro- and microscopical examinations and on some other studies. Ascospores, asci, paraphyses and cortex structures are illustrated by line drawings, and for thalli and apothecia digital photographs have been used. Includes key to the taxa.
