This book is the seventh in the series entitled Biodiverstiy ofCyanoprocaryotes, Algae and Fungi of Israel. The book is devoted to thefamily Erysiphaceae of the order Erysiphales. The taxonomy and speciesdiversity of the powdery mildew fungi as the most important plant parasites are described. The order Erysiphales is represented by 64species related to eight genera. Synonyms, locations, and dates ofcollection in Israel, as well as detailed descriptions of taxa based onmorphological features obtained using light microscope and scanningelectron microscope are provided.
