Morni is a northern part of Haryana State, India. - Morni Hills in Panchkula district of Haryana is part of Shiwalik hills, rich in floristic diversity due to topographical and altitudinal variations. To provide an overview on the status of vegetation composition of Morni Hills and its conservation, Flora of Morni Hills (Research and Possibilities) presents floristic analysis, systematic enumeration and economic aspects of plant uses with dominant plant families and genera of rare and endangered species of the area. Detailed description of some important medicinal plants of the area with their synonyms, common names, botanical description, distribution and medicinal uses is also given.

During this study 980 species were identified falling under 612 genera, 150 families including 18 Lichens, 12 Bryophytes, 16 Pteridophytes, 03 Gymnosperms and 931 species of Angiosperms. For the first time live photographs and digital herbarium pictures are also presented with the Flora.
