The aim of this study is to summarize knowledge about the lichen biota found so far in Central Poland, to collect all data for published and previously unpublished lichens, and to prepare a list of taxa occurring in this region. Lichenicolous and non - lichenized fungi allied to lichens are also included in the catalogue.
