The term 'polypores' employed in the titlecoincides almost completely with what remains of the Friesian conceptafter the Boleti and meruloid and cyphelloid elements are excluded andother species of genera such as the IRPEX, LENZITES and SISTOTREMA areadded. The Polyporaceae, even in a restricted sense, is shown as beinga very heterogeneous family. - Second hand copy.
