This volume contains 3 parts: Introduction, Monograph and Appendix.

The introduction describes the natural situation of Zhejiang Province, a brief history of collection and research, flora, and resource plants.

The monograph systematically records 50 families, 118 genera, and 436 species of wild or commonly cultivated ferns in Zhejiang Province (Huperaceae to Redaceae). 1 genus, 18 species (infraspecific taxa are not counted, but infraspecific taxa without original species in Zhejiang are counted by species, and the genus and species in the addendum are not counted repeatedly). These include 7 new taxa (including new species and new varieties) published since the start of the "Zhejiang Flora (New Edition)" editing project, 1 new record family of Zhejiang distribution, 4 new record genera, and new record species ( (including subspecies and varieties) 32, and corrected 1 wrongly identified species in the past. Each plant has its Latin name, morphological description, origin, habitat, distribution, use, etc., and more than 90% of the species are accompanied by color pictures taken in the field.

The appendix contains the type specimens collected from Zhejiang and the list of national key protected wild plants in Zhejiang Province.
