There are more than 120 species in 10 genera in China (only the fan-shaped mushroom is not found in distribution). Based on the investigation and collection of specimens in 20 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) across the country, the book records and describes 104 species (variants) of Chinese Mushroom Fungi, including 9 new species and 1 new combination and 30 new recorded species.
