The genus Bobartia (Sisyrinchieae-Iridaceae), endemic to the CapeProvince of South Africa, is revised. Fifteen species and six subspeciesare recognized, of these, three species and four subspecies are described for the first time, the remaining two subspecies being newcombinations.
