*Color Illustrated Guide to Pottiaceae Plants in the Mongolian Plateau* presents the first systematic survey and taxonomic revision of the Pottiaceae family (Bryophytes) within the Mongolian Plateau region. The volume encompasses 128 species and 8 varieties distributed across 33 genera and 5 subfamilies. This includes 6 species newly recorded for China, 9 species newly recorded for Inner Mongolia, 1 genus newly recorded for Mongolia, and 19 species newly recorded for Mongolia. Concurrently, 13 species have been excluded from the bryoflora of the Mongolian Plateau, while 6 species have been designated as doubtful taxa.
