This Atlas, first published in 2006, contains over 4000 full colour digital photographs taken with a microscope and represents 1828 taxa.The atlas comprises wild plants, adventitious plants and cultivatedplants that have gone wild.

The Seed Atlas presents a unique picture asa combination of a book and website. Because of the three indices tothe book and the advanced search function of the website it is anindispensible tool to identify seeds and fruits.

The second edition of2012 is identical to the first edition in both form and contents. Itcontains, however, a number of important corrections, and has betterand more realistic colours. The introdution is in both English and Dutch. At the end of the book are indexes of both the Dutch and thescientific plant names.
