The original bibliography on the fine structure of diatoms waspublished in 1993 (Gaul, Ursula et al.) as a combined effort toassemble from the world's literature (1936 - 1988) all availablepapers on diatom frustule morphology, which have included SEM or TEMphotomicrographs. This paper presents the continued literature - searchefforts of the Diatom Herbarium (ANSP), covering library research onthe subject, published between 1989 and December, 1999. Some earlierentries are included in the bibliography which have, in the meantime,come to our attention. Also included in a separate table are deletions,addenda and corrigenda to the original list. All conditions andlimitations are the same as described in the introduction to the firstpublication. Published Feb.7th,2003.
