The present publication primarily provides baseline information of over 2412 flowering plants of Rajasthan which are of varied morphological, ecological, medicinal and economic importance. A detailed account of their ecological parameters viz. climate, geology, topography, soil, drainage system and vegetation types are also covered. The present study includes the distribution of economically important plants of the State which include plants of medicinal value and other plants yielding non-wood forest produce such as gum, tannin, non-edible oil, dye, fiber etc. In addition, a section is also dedicated to rare, threatened and endemic plants of Rajasthan which will be helpful in conservation planning and future monitoring of the population of such species. This book covers 2412 plant species of which 1804 are dicots and 608 are monocots belonging to 155 families and 941 genuses. These plant species are mentioned here with their botanical names, some local/hindi name, family, distribution and their medicinal or any other economic value. This book also contains around 215 coloured photographs of different habitat and plants which will be of great aid in identification in the field for taxonomic studies
