The computerization of all the nomenclatural data included in the last41 volumes of RPS has been undertaken at the Municipal SucculentCollection, Zuerich (ZSS), and the 41-year name-list of Cactaceae is thefirst family checklist to be published from this database. Althoughsome omissions and errors have been detected during this phase, RPS isto the best of our knowledge still the most complete nomenclatural listin this specialized field.
