Thesaurus Masdevalliarum by C.Luer and W.Königer was begun in 1983 inGermany. In 1996, it was announced by the editor that the serieswould cease after the publication of the twentieth fascicle. Numerouspersons expressed their desire for the series to continue. So a new series entitled 'A Treasure of Masdevallia' was begun late 1996. It willbe in the same elephant-folio format of the Thesaurus Dracularum.
