The Prades Mountains are a particularly interesting place to see orchids. In this very diverse plant family, species of great beauty coexist with others that are less graceful, but which stand out for their biology, that is to say, for their way of life. In this space, the orchids typical of the Mediterranean environment predominate, but we can also find North African plants (such as Ophrys dyris, Anacamptis champagneuxii or Limodorum trabutianum) or some of the most common ones from central Europe (for example, Epipactis tumbari, E. palustris or Dactylorhiza fuchsii).

The Prades Mountains are located in pre-coastal Catalonia.
