In this Vol. 2 on the flora of Mongolia and adjacent areas of China and Russia, 1744 colour photographs of 406 taxa of vascular plants belonging to 37 families are presented. These include, among others, the families Fabaceae (Pea family), Lamiaceae (Mint family), Chenopodiaceae (Goosefoot family) and Polygonaceae (Knotweed family), which are very rich in species in Mongolia. Together with Vol. 1, a total of 3617 colour photographs of 826 taxa belonging to 70 families are included. The selection provides a very representative overview on the species diversity of the families covered.
