Plant Species with Extremely Small Populations (PSESP) in Southwest China is one of the important results of the National Science and Technology Basic Resources Survey Special Project "Survey and Germplasm Conservation of Extremely Small Populations of Wild Plants in Southwest China (2017FY100100)".
The book carefully selects 207 species of extremely small populations of wild plants in Southwest China that were surveyed in the project. Based on the latest data obtained, the book includes the distribution locations, habitat characteristics, flowering and fruiting periods or spore maturity periods, and main morphological characteristics of these species, accompanied by high-quality photos of plants and habitats taken during field surveys, and annotates the national key protection levels of these species.
