Sporidesmium, Endophragmiella and related genera include various hyphomycetous fungi with coloured and septate conidia. They are mainly saprobes on rotten wood, dead branches, and decaying leaves of various plant species. A total of 143 species in 25 genera are reported from mainland China, including 1 new genus, 43 new species,16 new combinations, 23 new genera records and 99 new species records for China.
