This volume volume of 620 pages, written in 1988, is made up of four parts: in the first the Author presents the group of 141 species belonging to the Tricholoma-Armillaria ss complex. Fries with references to the works of Fries; the second part concerns the 11 genera separated, over the centuries, from the genus Tricholoma s.l; the third part includes the taxonomy, the keys of determination and the description of the treated species and finally, in the last part, the species are illustrated with the watercolors of A. Dermek and E. Rebaudengo.
