Flora Fungorum Sinicorum Vol. 70, Chrysosporium et Genera Cognata, describes 136 species from 15 genera and related genera of keratinophilic fungi in China, including 26 species of Chrysosporium, 5 species of Ctenophora, 4 species of Geotrichum, 11 species of Keratinophytes, 1 species of Coronary Pseudomonas, 5 species of Microsporum, 1 species of Myceliophthora, 5 species of Neinitzia, 2 species of Paraphyton, 20 species of Phialium, 14 species of Pseudomonas, 9 species of Scedosporium, 18 species of Scopulariopsis, 5 species of Thermophilus, and 10 species of Trichophyton. Morphological descriptions, illustrations, and cultural characteristics of each species are provided. For species not observed, relevant references and brief introductions are provided. Most of these fungi are keratinophilic, and some species can cause dermatophytes in humans and animals. Therefore, this volume provides a brief overview of the research on keratinophilic fungi and dermatophyte fungi, and introduces the taxonomic history, research status, and application value of each genus of fungi. These fungi are closely related to human life and health, and many species have potential application value in the national economy.
