This checklist, the first one established in Morocco, includes 126families, 2185 species and 634 subspecies. By extending it to allendemic, rare or threatened taxa, the authors expect to reach two goals:1)presenting to all investigators interested in Moroccan flora the partof this patrimony, which is still poorly known, until the projectedpublication of the Practical Flora of Morocco and the new Checklistof Moroccan plants, 2) giving to the scientists and managers a basicuseful list, to the former for their research and to the latter forestablishing the necessary management protection plans. 28 newcombinations are proposed.
